This unit allows us to learn a lot about the way our world works and how we, as consumers and producers, effect economics. Below are the videos that we'll share over the course of the three weeks. The Hudsucker Proxy shows us an excellent example of Supply and Demand. The salesman is not able to sell hula hoops until the kids see the young boy hula-hooping. Can you explain this example of supply and demand? This Needs vs. Wants video is about Jimmy and Alex who want to purchase bikes next year. Explain to me what each boy does to meet their goal of purchasing a new bike. How can you relate to this?
